Keith Cole Safety Pilot

Safety Pilot Services

The 2007 Nall Safety Report shows that 73.8 % of the total accidents (79.1% of which were fatal) are pilot- related. 71.5% of those were personal, 13.3% of those were instructional, 2.8% of those were business and 0.7 % of those were executive/corporate flights.

The addition of a second pilot in the cockpit can significantly improve that safety record. Adding a professional pilot to the cockpit is one of the best investments you can make to enhance your safety. The addition of a professional pilot enhances the enjoyment of the flight as a result of workload reduction. Also, there is potential training value to be realized by flying with an active flight instructor.

If you are not rated or have lost your medical certificate I can help you continue to enjoy the benefits of aircraft ownership. Staying current and meeting the annual insurance company currency requirements is time consuming and stressful even for those who have their pilot licenses. I would be glad to act as the “copilot” in your airplane allowing you to fly and enjoy your airplane. The logging of dual instruction to meet rating or insurance requirements is also available as a side benefit.

Keith Cole has been flying with my family and me as “Safety Pilot” in our Cessna T210 for the past 3+ years.  During that time he’s become one of my closest friends, a man I can always depend upon for wise counsel above the ground, or walking on it. Keith is a judicious aviator and the most competent man I’ve ever shared the cockpit with during 40 years of General Aviation flying.  I only regret we were not punching holes in the sky together the other 3+ decades.  Keith is THE best pilot I know.  Somebody has to be and without any doubt…the winner is: Keith Cole.
